Genius Interview ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Interview data: your spoken and typed answers during practice sessions, and the transcripts and scores generated from them.
• Presence signals: when you enable the camera, eye-contact, framing and energy measurements computed on your device. Video frames are analysed live on the phone and are not uploaded or stored.
• Usage information: how you interact with the app, including features used and time spent.
• Device information: device type, operating system and identifiers used for sign-in, notifications and advertising.
• Progress data: your scores, levels, streaks and the coach's memory of your sessions.

How we use your information

• To run the interview, score your answers and write your feedback.
• To remember your progress so the coach can adapt future sessions.
• To improve our AI coaching and service quality.
• To communicate with you about updates and reminders you opt into.
• To keep the platform secure.

AI processing

Your answers are processed by AI services to generate questions, scores and feedback. Presence coaching uses on-device face detection; no video leaves your phone. AI output can be wrong and is provided as practice guidance only. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Advertising

The free app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.

Data sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the platform (hosting, authentication, AI processing, analytics, advertising), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer.

Data security

We use encryption in transit, secure cloud infrastructure, access controls and secure authentication to protect your information.

Data retention

• Account and progress data is retained while your account is active.
• You can delete individual sessions or your whole account from the app.
• On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; request portability; opt out of certain processing; and withdraw consent. Contact privacy@geniusinterview.com.

Children

Our service is not intended for users under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated date.
